Who doesn’t love an Aperol Spritz? A true classic, that refreshing combination of bittersweet amaro, sparkling wine and splash of fizz makes us all feel very European. And let’s be honest, behind the veneer of a sophisticated drink, the Aperol Spritz is just a great excuse to day-drink sweet alcoholic fizzy drinks in the sun.

But Australia, we can do even better! There’s a whole world of amaro (Italian for bitter) out there and here’s your chance to explore it. Our Spritz recipe features Imbroglio, a local Aussie amaro that tastes like if Aperol grew up, got a job, planted a herb garden with fancy things like gentian and rhubarb, but still knew how to get down on the weekend. It’s fancy, but doesn’t take itself too seriously. This cocktail kit is a must-have for the Spritz aficionados among us.

What's in the kit:

	Imbroglio 500ml 25% ABV A uniquely Aussie bittersweet amaro made by the self-described “enfant terrible” of Australian distilling, Poor Toms. The aptly named Imbroglio (an Italian word for a ‘sticky situation’) finds perfect balance in its chaotic list of 25 botanicals that includes mandarin, rhubarb and hibiscus, making for a complex, layered Spritz. Belissimo, mate!
	Harvest Blanc de Blanc 750ml 12.5% ABV Harvest Social Cantina is Australia’s only wine production co-op, splitting its profits 50/50 with local growers who supply their grapes. Their Blanc de Blanc style of sparkling contains 100% chardonnay, giving a spritely acidity that works particularly well to provide that extra zip to your Spritz.
